The British embassy in India has introduced new facilities and procedures to facilitate the visa application process. Students need to file their visa application at one of all the eleven application centers, operated by Visa Facilitation Services (VFS). In case of an emergency, one can also apply at the embassy or the Deputy embassy.
All applications lodged at VFS are then immediately forwarded to the embassy or the relevant Deputy High Commission.
